We were engaged by Tonkotsu - a Japanese dining operator - to identify twenty top target locations for its next phase of expansion in and outside of London. At the time of the project the brand had 16 locations. We brought scientific rigour to the location strategy, building a target list based on regression analysis of success catchment characteristics for Tonkotsu and a cohort of similarly positioned Asian brands. For each of the top twenty sites identified, we provided in depth analysis of target streets and developments, providing granular footfall data and competitive analysis.
