Alserkal Avenue

Our team has been working with Alserkal Avenue since 2013 when we helped transform what was once an industrial warehouse district into one of the GCC’s foremost contemporary art hubs. Our initial remit involved defining the asset mix, establishing a framework for assessing prospective tenants and concepts, conducting commercial modelling, and evaluating the organisational structure required to support its development.

Since that initial project, we have been involved in Phase 2, revising the asset mix following the district’s expansion. We have also supported organisational structuring projects, consumer insight programmes, brand strategy and values work, as well as due diligence for the investment arm of the business and collaboration on other regional gallery districts with the Alserkal Advisory team.

Today, Alserkal Avenue is home to over 70 galleries and arts organisations alongside cutting edge restaurants and creative concepts across its 500,000 sq ft footprint. Now the premier contemporary art district in the Middle East, they attract c.1 million visitors per year.
